Yes, Honda GY6 parts, will for the most part fit... Somewhere on here there's a cross reference list.

Most of the best deals are from internet sellers..

You can possibly find parts a local scooter shop. They use the same GY6-clone engines.

As far as on-line... KidNMe Karts has a good selection, price and support. So does McDonoughPowerSports, Eric (BIGE) is a good guy as well.

Yes, you should be able to find one tomorrow... If a scotter shop doesn't have it, a NAPA (or the like) may have one.

Search this forum for the replacement belt info.

if you go to napa the belt is a gates powerlink for variable drive transmissions for scooters. the size is 743-20-30

the case on some scooters are longer than our buggy's so make sure they get you that size.

One more thing...I just have to wonder what would cause this thing to fail like it did being as new as it.The thing couldn't have had but 20-40 hrs on it?
I did change the rear axel last week and the rear bearings/axel did seem a little tight.Could added resistance in the secondary portion of the drive train cause this?

In stock trim, the buggies are geared too high. This buts extra stress on the CVT belt and clutch. By doing these modifications, the CVT will thank you.

Another cause of premature belt failure is a clogged cooling intake into the CVT. Make sure yours is not clogged up with grass or mud.

If go the next step with modifications using a larger axle sprocket, CVT problems will just about go away unless you are trying to haul around 400 lbs plus a trailer...

Yes I'll probally do the new axel bearings and order a new sprocket or sprokets next week.Plus I'm gonna replace the stock shocks with some quality ones and put a sick sounding pipe on it.After talking with BIG E about aftermarket headers and pipes I may go with the FMF pipe due to it being a direct slip on thus eliminating the need to re-positoion the battery due to the new header. These buggys are kinda addicitive when you start playin around and adding mods to them.I'k gonna have to start shopping around for a meaty 250cc.for myself.

I still like the idea of having a slip-on tunable muffler (like a SuperTrapp) so you can adjust the back pressure and noise to your riding style.

Yes, the buggies will take over your time and garage...
