hadnt noticed before the other day. but when i was looking at the differential to change out the gear oil i found this:

THE DIFF IS UPSIDE DOWN!!! WTH?????

[img] [/img]

guess i need to put the buggy on a rotisserie to drain and inject gear oil then turn back around???

seriously, i talked with bill at hammerheadcanada and they told be to either pump out old oil or drain from the fill hole on (previously) top(now bottom) and fill from the drain(previously) that is now on top. kinda confusing when you say it like that. but all HH400's are this way evidently. What gear oil did/are you going to use?
I haven't changed mine yet.
I was wanting to know what brand and weight you are going to use.

If you stand on your head the diff is in the right position.

I changed my diff oil this weekend.
I used Mobil 1 75W-140
There wasn't much OEM oil in the diff and it looked like gray anti-seize.
I was able to drian oil out by removing small plug at bottom.
Added oil till it came out middle plug.

Yep added oil through the top.
I had a small hose that I put in top hole and put other end of hose on oil bottle. It worked just fine.
