Hello.. I just picked myself up a almost brand new Blade 150DX from a guy on Craigslist.com... the buggy has very little hours on it and still had the nipples on the original tires.. So far I am pretty satisfied with this buggy but do have a question about a tube that comes off of the valve head? I don't know a whole lot about engines but I think it's the valve head that this tube is comin off of and runs over the top of the motor towards the back. When the engine is runnin this tube is blowing outwards and doesn't seem like it's giving me any problems except I would like to know if maybe there is somewhere it is supposed to be connected. It had a small "hose clamp" on the end of it but I can't find anywhere it looks like it came off of. The only problem with this is it seems like when I am riding that engine oil kinda spurts out of this tube onto the top of the gear box thing. I just recently changed the oil and think I might have put a little much in it so I was wondering if maybe this was some kinda pressure release hose or something? or if they would even make a hose for that reason.. I will have to see about gettin pictures as I am not very good at explaining. The engine in this buggy I geuss is supposed to be a clone of the Honda gy6 engine if that helps any. Thanks Zachary
Yes it is a vent hose for the valve cover. A little oil coming out of it once in a while is normal, especially if you over filled the oil. On some buggies this hose is routed into the air box so the oil gets sucked through the intake and burned in the engine instead of just dumping out but this is not necessary and is possible with most after market air filter solutions anyway.

Thank you so much.. I was worried that maybe it was supposed to be shooting that oil somewhere like inside the enlosed clutch case or something.. It mostly seemed to spurt the oil out when I was trying to get the engine to show me what it can do.. well thanks for tha peace of mind I'm glad I just didn't get screwed or something...
