The cart chain (Double Chain/New Machine) binds at about 3 mph; walking speed. The teeth seem to occasionally miss the hole between the links. Could this be a chain or possibly the sprocket teeth? Has anybody had issue with the transmission or drive axle?
what brand of buggy do you have? how much slack is in the chain? should be about 1/2 inch play _________________ Blade buggies,Carter buggy's, ams (manco) , joyner, parts for almost anything

Put the rear on jack stands and spin the tires. Look for a bent engine output shaft or axle sprocket. _________________ 08 Joyner SandViper 250

trying a set of 10gram rollers now
whiteside have you tried unhooking the cable and putting it in gear by hand, to see if that helps.
maybe the cable has stretched enough now thats not letting it go in forward and reverse all the way.
i would try that first before doing any adjusting to the cable.
also you do have plenty of grease in the gearbox,i have read that when shipped sometimes these gearboxs like this, there is not much grease in them or any.

around that lever that the cable hooks to should be an allen bolt, the allen bolt goes into a slot on the lever's shaft, it keeps it from moving to far one way.
loosen the bolt, and move the shift lever while holding the allen head bolt. you are trying to feel if it falls back in the slot _________________ Blade buggies,Carter buggy's, ams (manco) , joyner, parts for almost anything
