Sorry for the dumb question (especially for my first post). I need to confirm that the velocity stack attaches to the carb and not the intake.

I ask because I have a racing carb that won't fit because it hits the engine. Anyone have any insight as to making a "high rise" intake, ie, installing a stack before the carb? If it is like a car, then I suspect higher rpms would breathe better but it would be crappy off the line.

Thanks everyone!

David

I sent him a pm. Thanks!

To confirm though, the stack does go after the carb, right?

It is an extension pipe between the head and intake elbow. The intake elbow currently makes a direct connection between the carburetor and head.

If its like a car bottom end will suck yes. Bolts between engine and carb.
