You are running a larger pilot jet on your 150 then I'm running on my 250.. Pilot jets mainly effect idle quality and power off idle to about 25 percent throttle.I wonder if that might be part of your idle problem. I'm running a 40 pilot and a 30 main on my 250 but I still have to read the plug yet the tune isn't dialed in yet but it sure goes with no hesitation. Main jets mainly effect wide open power but still are effected by the pilot jet as well. _________________ Darren,

Too much power is almost enough!
See, and I was thinking the opposite. There was a lot more hesitation with the stock pilot jet (35) after the main jet was changed out, so I went all the way up to a 42 and it was quite a bit better. Thought maybe a 45 would do the trick.. but you're saying maybe a 40? Think that will mean dropping the main to a 122 instead of a 125? Experimentation is the key I suppose. _________________ 05' Carter Talon GSX 150 2R

But patience is a virtue I haven't mastered. More plugs are on the way for testing, and I also don't want to run her too much with a cracked oil filter plug. So first things first I guess. get that plug changed, adjust the valves, finish dialing in that carb, then maybe change jets again if needed.
That's the plan right now anyway. _________________ 05' Carter Talon GSX 150 2R
