I was just saying to myself... decked head... UNI... full cvt mods... wheres the rejet and exhaust gutting????? lol
And I would NEVER run on 87!!!! lol...
I have the HOWHIT also, and I dropped in a cam, big carb, cool intake and all, but I think I can get more from the head being decked, or the stroker... I have the crank, but I dont know what would be better... milling isnt too expensive, and I would only have to pull the head... but the crank is awesome, and I got it for free, so I am debating...
just a note, I installed a k&n fuel/air ratio meter on my wifes twister 150gt and it has a mrp pipe, uni, airtube, and had a 140 jet in it with a 40 pilot jet.
it pegged out the rich side of the meter at 7750 rpm and was a lttle rich at idle. I replaced the 140 with a 135 and it only came down 1 light, next will be a 127.5 _________________ Blade buggies,Carter buggy's, ams (manco) , joyner, parts for almost anything

whats up with that BIGE is the eye deceiving when reading a plug without a meter or is the exhaust more restrictive then you thought.are you seeing more of a power gain dropping back down on jet sizes.
also one more question how long are you running the engine, would go back to the leaner side after a half hour or so of hard riding.this is interesting.

trying a set of 10gram rollers now
I am going to use it as a tuning tool for the shop, so I want to see how it does first.
I have only went from a 140 to a 135 and no diff in power, just 1 light leaner.
you have to let the sensor get hot before it will read, ran it about 1.5 hours and still the same reading. I am going to play somemore this week end _________________ Blade buggies,Carter buggy's, ams (manco) , joyner, parts for almost anything

Travis, doesn't even look likea Yerf anymore... Nice Job.. as for BIGE, I was surprised too when he found he was running rich. Eric, you should post a picture of your plug before you rejet for us to reffer too, I have just been eyeballing the plug for years but now you have me thinking a bit...

I've decided to keep the stock pipe on because of the neighbors around here. That is, until I finish designing the BD pipe.
Here's a link to the original thread about this buggy at BD with progress pictures.

The basic chassis is from the older 3202 Yerf Dog model. All of the suspension and drivetrain components are from the 3206/spiderbox model. So this thing is pretty much a Yerf Dog retro crossover.
I forgot to mention that the A12 torque camshaft is also installed on this engine, which I've seen reduce max RPM on other machines... but for whatever reason that doesn't seem to be the case here.
I'll get those pictures of the peddle arrangements for you Chris. Video coming soon.
We also have oil pressure, oil temperature, and head temperature gauges that I should have installed within the next few days. More to come.
