Do you happen to remember what the thread pattern was?

Ok, sorry been a while, just working alot...anyway, here is what I ended up doing, sorry, no pics...lol.... I sent an email to this guy :
Item Title: GO KART Utv NO VACUUM PETCOCK GY6 125 150 250 FUEL PET
Item Number: 260282993802
Item URL: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260282993802
with the following questions:
Hi, My son has a Blade 110rm, will this fit it?
Is it guaranteed not to leak?
Where is it made?
Does it just screw on like the original?
What diameter of fuel line does it take(nipple size on pet)?
His reply:
sorry it will not fit, thanks for visiting our store, Alex.

I had been under the impression that the petcocks had the same size connector from the tank to the petcock, and the only difference was the fuel line size (nipple on the petcock)
So, I trotted down to Home Depot, and picked up a brass female reducer fitting, going from 3/8" down to a 1/4", NPT used on air hoses. I also picked up the male, 1/4" brass nipple, (used for making a new fitting on an air hose) and screwed the two pieces together, and then, screwed the 3/8 reducer to the male threaded connector on the tank....seems to fit, will let you know more once I get everything tightened up and a fuel on/off switch installed..........Thanks RMB, ageekwithabuggy, BigE, RicD....for all the responses......hope this helps out anyone else.....

Ok, so I get the fittings tight enough on the tank, for a temporary fit, prior to brazing. Looks good, no leakage there. Run the 1/4 inch hose from the brass nipple, down to the plastic fuel shut off valve, and clamp the hose tight. No leaks there either. Run the hose from the shut off valve to the aftermarket clear fuel filter, with a 1/4 inch fitting and clamp it. No leaks there either. Run the hose from the filter to the carb. Seems loose, then it hit me, the fitting on the carb is going to be much smaller.....tried clamping it, but still too loose, gas starts dripping..........
Now, knowing the fitting on the carb is designed for I believe, 1/8 inch fuel line, I guess I am stuck with using the stock petcock? Anyway to upgrade, to get the 1/4 inch fuel line to work? Thanks.....

try 3/16 line, should be able to clamp down and force it over the 1/4" fitting... _________________ Steele's Powersports

I used a piece of 3/16 line inside of the 1/4 inch. clamped there and on the carb. no leaks yet _________________ Blade buggies,Carter buggy's, ams (manco) , joyner, parts for almost anything
