Many, many thanks.
Now all I need is a nice "performance" intake and air filter and I will be done searching. Any good sources of those 2 to match the exhaust ?
Thanks, Chris

all you need is a uni filter and a few jets, you can make your own intake tube.

Hi Gentlemen,
Many thanks once again.
I think I saw on the web an article from someone who made an intake tube, my concern is the two tubes that go into the current intake filter box. How will I connect them ? Do they need to be connected ?
I want the Uni filter as well, but that raises the same quaestion as above.
Also, will a different intake manifold Between the carb and the head) help or are they a waste ?
Lastly, what range of carb jets should I buy to try with this set up ?
I see you are an MRP dealer, do you have these parts in stock ?
Again thanks, Chris

The 150R uses a different airbox then what I'm familiar with so I'm not sure what you can do with it. The 2 small hoses are vents. one for the rear gearbox and one is a crankcase vent. Both can just dangle. With a Uni on a short straight pipe you will need a jet around 120. Buy a couple on either side of this--they're cheap. _________________ _________________

A crossfire 150R is easy to mod with the airbox and such... You can remove the box. Remove the large hose from the carb... Replace with a sink tailpiece (drain pipe) and a coupling... As far as the intake manifold goes, as long as you get the larger one (30mm) you will get the higer performance. The only gain from the standard metal replacement manifold is that you wont get cracks like you would with the rubber manifold.
If you need any help with other mods or advice, feel free to contact any of us through PMs, or a real good guy to get in touch with is krusekontrol. He is a member on this site and owns 5 crossfires...
Good luck!!!
