I'm really disappointed I could'nt make it back down too run with you Pete, I'm glad you had fun and all ran well.
I'm more disappointed you did'nt get to ride in my buggy, DAMITTT.
It was very nice meeting you and your wife. I will make better plans next time, please let me know when you come this way again.

VAN, I would " let " you kick my a$$ just to speed up the process of getting too that beer we need to have together!!

WC, it's your turn to make a 350+ mile trek north. Your buggy will not fit the trails I ride unless you take a chainsaw or down size to a 250cc machine. We'll have to meet up at Moses Lake on eastern side of the state. If you don't make it north, you better not have an excuse when I head down next year - I'll make a spot out in the sand for your rig.

WC in the long run you sound like my kind of guy. One of these days we'll have to meet. We can probably skip the a$$ whooping on either side and just go straight to the beer. I am going to be at the cinder rideing area in flag this weekend if you want the beer. Heck if you make that kind of trip the beers on me the whole weekend. Van

Well Pete I think if it does go til next year you need to go another twenty miles too the real Oregon dunes at Winchester Bay, way more buggy friendly than Florence.
I wont have any excuses next time .

VAN, There is some tree huggers in Oregon but they are in very liberal towns like Medford,Springfield,Eugene and Portland we keep them in those town's so we tree killin-deer eatin-gun totin good ol boys can keep an eye on them. They dont stray too far out in the brush .
I had to laugh too myself, I own 260 acres of 15 to 30 year old douglas fir timber and I hug them all the time when I'm trying to get the tape measure around them and check the diameter to see how much money I am making each year. 13% per year
on the dollar, try to get that out of a bank, cd, IRA ETC.

Geez Pgh... wish I (we) could have been there, only been there once before 20 yrs ago. Some times my farming interferes w/some awesome summer fun time !!! Gonna see what I can do bout making this trip w/you & the wife next year, for at least a few days. Besides I think I owe you for a recovery tow of our GTR at the Moses Lake Bash (should have been there to help w/ the Winch -- I was married to one once many moons ago Smile
