ok, thanks again. No parts yet so for now, no more questions but im sure ill have some when they get here.  _________________ stock yerf dog, on order parts: 1500 main spring, wire harness, 10 & 12g rolers, 1500cluch arm springs, 1/4" 4x4 front hubs, shocks, UNI (redneck)

has anyone had long term problems from changing the weights and spring? increased wear on the engine from revving higher, broken belts..?

People running heavier torque springs will get more CVT belt wear than using lighter ones. Running heavier rollers will wear the rollers faster than lighter ones due to the additional strain of a higher gears.
However tuning the CVT will put less strain on your final drive and engine than stock. _________________ 08 Joyner SandViper 250

sorry im a rookie with lots of stupid questions.so what the difference between the roller varitor weights and the sliding variator weights?is one better then the other?Also on my variator fan about a 1" peice is broken off will this hurt?

ok yes i realize the dates on this thread but its stickie lol ok i have a couple questions
#1 is the 250 about the same
#2 is there guid to change the clutch spring too

ok another question what did you use the wood shim for was it for getting the belt in there or making it easier to put the other side on
