We received the Blaster shocks in the mail today and installed them on the rear of the Crossfire this evening. We didn't cut off any of the mount bushings like some members did. We just reshaped the original bosses to fit the Blaster shocks. I'll post a picture tomorrow. Too dark tonight.
I also found a set of Bombardier DS650 Sport ATV shocks for the front of the Crossfire. Very few hours on them. They could pass for new, and for only $85 shipped. I think that was a steal?
I should have them mid-week. I'll be sure to post pictures of any mods we do - if any are needed, and give a report for anyone interested in knowing how well they work or not.
Thanks to everyone who has been offering advice for the Crossfire / Dune 150! A big THANK YOU to all of you BN members have helped us make some excellent, affordable upgrades to the buggy so far. And we've only had it for a week! More to come in the next few weeks....... _________________ Tomberlin Crossfire 150R

You stole those DS650 shocks--good find! Even better deal since the springs are closer to ideal than the AC shocks. _________________ _________________

Here we go. I'm glad the Blaster shocks came with the original bolts included. Had they not, we would have had to cut the bushings or get new/longer bolts. I'll be sure to post more when the DS shocks come in and we get our hands on the front of the buggy. I have a feeling the front may require a little more attention.

sweet!!!! Im glad you went with those for the back... i am still experimenting a tiny bit with the right adjustments between those and my fronts... it seems like the blasters give more "bounce" after jumps or whoops and the fronts just plain absorb more... We'll play wit them and see... lol... I would love to hear and see how those DS shocks work out for you!!!
I need some shocks for the hh250SS if anyone knows what fits. Hammerhead performance is supposedly coming out with another shock option as a replacement, but who knows how long that is going to be.. _________________ Darren,
