Just had the engine running. Haven't driven it yet. Still got quite a bit to do before I start test driving.

I did not have to change the frame size at all.

great lookin buggy!!!

What did you do with the original engine? How much did the raptor motor cost ya?

I really like the instal... One thing I noticed... Is there any adjustment in chain tension? Or are you going to use a mechanical tensioner?

Looking awesome!!!

Thanks,

Spent 1k for the Raptor engine but it included everything:
engine, ignition, carbs, harness, exhaust, cables, etc, etc

I need to go through the engine before I'm done but it's running now. 5th gear is out. I'm going to put Yukon gears in when I tear it down.

Original engine is sittin on the shop floor right now.
Jackshaft to drive axle chain is adjusted by moving the drive axel forward and back like it was originaly except oppisite the stock way.

Engine to jackshaft chain is kept tight using a roller tensioner on the bottom side of the chain.

Got the exhaust straightened out. Ledezma ended up doing a great job.

Next project was setting up the jackshafts. Took a bit of effort to get things dialed in. Both chains are on now and tight.

Gonna work on the clutch pedal/cable adjustment next.

If all goes well we will try and test run this weekend.
