Hey that sounds great have your cake and eat it too! I am getting ready to install 17 gram sliders and a Melossi White main spring. You are making me want to try the 21gram sliders first. What kind of main spring are you running in your buggy?

Stock main spring stock clutch springs and clutch stock variator. 54 miles an hour with doctor pulley 21 gram sliders and hammerhead performance kit. I have the test on you tube its the blue cart. And in the video you can see the big tire spin and dirt that combo kicks up compared to the orange one has variator 17 gram sliders main spring and clutch springs. The performance kit adds 50 percent more power I have the videos stock versus performance kit with 21 gram sliders. The performance kit the speedo reaches any given speed 50 percent faster you can time them yourself and compare.

Its a performance package created by hammerhead specifically for the 2007 and up. It removes the EPA restrictions and gives you a substantial performance gain. 50 percent more power. Intake exhaust jets and header pipe. Valve adjustment recommended for optimum power gain.
yours does have the high/low tranny, so you would get more bottom end with 17 gram sliders or 14 or 13 gram rollers. it would help when on the high side of the tranny.

a main spring will help keep it in low gear longer and put more pressure on the belt to eliminate slippage. but you will loose about 3-6 mph top speed.

the tranny can hadle it, when doing the cvt mods you are making it change gears at a higher rpm. so there is no horse power gain just changing the way it shifts
thanks for the help! Very well said even I can understand that. I am already on it Im going with the 17gram sliders and a white melossi spring on clutch this will be my set up for riding in the road to trail conditions. Thanks very much!!

I stock them if you are interested. They still maintain factory warranty as the kit was developed by hammerhead specifically for the 07 and up.one full kit left.. Others have to wait until the end of next week for the jets to complete the kit.

. The roller weights are what actuates the variator to change gears at any given rpm. Sliders do the same thing only in my opinion better then a roller would.

. Coil and cdi will not work on your application. Those parts will be coming down the pipe hopefully by the end of the month. Mrp cdi I tested on cf moto had zero change because its made for cn 250. Coil I have sitting on my desk... Have not tested yet but I can't see any hope that spark plug wire will reach. At the very least I believe the wires to coil will need to be extended and that the coil would need to be mounted outside the electrical box.
