Any hints ive adjusted Fuel/Air and the throttle.

well i think i found out the problem i just wanna make sure b4 i take it apart... The tranmission is acting like it only wants to be in reverse and acts like its not in drive all the way or its at a higher gear or something and will not idle well unless its in reverse but then the motor goes up and down in rpms so im not really sure what the problem is...

check the belt and the clutch pulley. the clutch pulley might be sticking or the belt may be to far down in the pulley

well i cleaned the carb again this time i adjusted the Float a little now its running better... But if i set the fuel air to let it idle it wont let me hit the gas past 25-35% but if i got it set for higher RPMs it will run really rich... any ideas

If it runs strong in reverse but not in forward, I am 90% surethat it is either A: like eric said your clutch is sticking, or B: when you put the belt on you put it too fardown on the clutch. If you putthe belt on and it is pushed down morethen 1/4 inch or so you will be stuck in High Gear "so to speak" I get calls on this all of the time. because think about it, if you are able to throttle in reverse then it likely has nothing to do with the carb..

Just My thoughts,

Stu

Reverse is a three to one reduction verses forward, so there is a good chance that one of the variator rollers is turned or the belt is caught in the clutch assembly halves.
