I have just changed out both our fuel lines with a larger inside diameter clear fuel hose, on both our Kinroad Sahara 250cc.
I have a 135 jet in both and have seen no real change, other than the popping and occasional backfire on deceleration.
A good trick is to grab a large syringe and pupm enough fuelinto the fuel hose/filter and all the way to the carby,,, once its filled with fuel all the way back,,, re-connect to the fuel rooster,,, and away you go

I put in my new clear filters last night, and the flow was immediate. My old white filter used to fill up completely, and stay filled. That tells me it was starting to plug up. This one holds only a few drops.. all the rest of the fuel is flowing straight through the filter and running much better. Never had a chance to run it very long, so I'm not sure if it's flowing TOO much (that I'd have to lower my jet size) but for the $2 these clear filters cost on ebay... it was a good investment so far.

I use the same filter, but picked up mine at local lawn garden tractor store. The ends allow to sizes of holes - I cut off the small ends and reamed out the larger one since I went with 3/8" fuel line. When I open my manual petcock, the filter completely fills up with fuel. The buggy was running real rich after this modification with the 150 main jet I had been running. This tells me that there was definitely flow restriction in the stock setup. I am now running a 140 jet and looking good.
