i found this little bracket that is a PERFECT hitch to pull my lawn tractor's cart.

is i a bad idea to drill 2 holes through the frame to but bolts in.
i wasnt sure if this whould weaken it to much. if this is a bad idea, any better ones?

Most of the brackets just attach to the frame, not through it. I wouldn't be drilling any holes in that section of the frame as it takes a lot of stress back there....

na, the chain tensioner is to high. the brack i have wasnt made to be a buggy hitch, its just some random bracket i found in a toolbox. i could weld it but id rather it not be permanent. im going to see what i can do with some U brackets.

Go with U-Bolts and some sort of rubber bushing. If you can achieve this, you can tighten (secure) the hell outt the bracket and be totally fine.

my maxxam which is virtually identical to your talon came with the small hitch tube welded on.
