This is a question for all the Carter GTR 250 & 300,Blade 250, and Joyner 250 owners.
Has the width of your machines been much of a problem for trail riding? The guys out west don't seem to be concerned with the width too much but here in the midwest (at least where I live) it is mostly wooded trails and lots of hills.
We don't have any state trail systems around us so it's not really a requirement or a restriction.
All the machines mentioned are 60" to 62" wide as far as the specs I have found on line show. _________________ '07 Crossfire 150R - sold

Well barring a hurricane this weekend we plan on taking my GTR250 out into the woods/swamp on a couple of ATV trails and just crawling through the trees and stuff. If we have a problem with the size then my next buggy will be a Hammerhead 250SS. If it does ok then I may go with the Blade XTX. The biggest thing is the rear wheels are just as wide as the front so you have to remember to clear the obstacles with them BEFORE you start turning. _________________ Carter GTR 250

This past weekend I meet a guy with a 350 yamaha warrior. I followed him through paths I normally wouldn't take, (narrow and filled with boulders). I like my Joyner, but that day I left impressed with my Joyner. I told that guy (Marcus) if we lived where there was nice terrain this thing would last 10 years. I know your biggest concern is width, but tough as nails has gotta count for something.

I have taken my Blade 250xt on some fairly tight trails, You cant go real fast if the trails are tight. it does well, just have to look far enough ahead so you can make a decision on if the upcoming section is to tight _________________ Blade buggies,Carter buggy's, ams (manco) , joyner, parts for almost anything

My 2007 Joyner 250 was 60 " wide. It just fit in the back of my full sized pickup - if that is a consideration for you at all.
It is fun to have a relatively narrow buggy. I know that there are some places my 800 at 65" wide cannot go that were so fun. _________________ 2008 Mini Viper 800
