Can't afford to spend the $ on a new buggy. IF I had the $, I'd definitely go with a Joyner. I wish you could get used Joyners around here for $1,500 like you can in the Western states (according to other BN members). And a single seater is out of the question. It'll have to be a 2 seat buggy.
talk to bigE at mcdougal motersports we went for a ride to do his comercial last year in georgia and he took us to an awsome off road park that my 53 inch carter had no issues with. _________________ 06/07 GSX 150 Carter Talon

Probably Durhamtown Plantation. No problems there with any buggy as there are plenty of dozer wide trails to ride. We ride our bikes there about every other month and that is probably where we would try a buggy first. If it were only closer to us. It's a 2.5 hr drive one-way (147 miles).
Crossfire it is. I have an appointment to purchase an '08 Crossfire 150R Thursday evening. Can't wait!
Oz, I see you're from AL. We ride several places over there too. "The Ridge", "MillCreek MX", and "Chrisscross MX". They are actually closer to us than Durhamtown, except for The Ridge. It's about the same distance. None of them are buggy friendly though. More ATV and motorcycle oriented.
garider,
I had an '07 Crossfire 150R and I personally think it is an excellent starter machine for the money. I had a few minor problems and dealt directly with Tomberlin. They were helpful, courteous and quick about getting the parts I needed.
The shocks are a bit stiff and the cabin is a little tight.
The brakes were excellent and it was quite nimble in the trails.
Long steep hills need a good run at them but it'll go.
Mine was all stock and from what I've learned here is that there is a lot of room for improvement relatively easily. Just search the forums here and you'll learn a ton. I did.
Good luck!
Oh yeah I almost forgot, mine was around 52" in front and 48" in the rear. It fit in the back of a full size pickup but you had to back it in. _________________ '07 Crossfire 150R - sold
