Yes, I still have the white springs in. I need for the memory to fade and the knuckles to heal a little more before I have the nerve to try switching to the red springs. _________________ Spyder 250 (KTR-250W, or GK-29)

I know its been a while but no internet. The spider is running great. My original belt must of been defective. I have now hit trees and rolled it sideways and backwards with no real damage (except for mirrors that don't work). NO I did not install a couple of plastic aesthetics (know as air horns) to a buggy. I have done another fluid change and haven't had any more problems other then a flat. As far as trailers go I got a tractor supply 4x8 trailer and added some 2x12s and it pulls great behind my Hyundia Elantra. If anyone down here in central Texas wants to play some time just let me know.

The mods helped a lot. My mom has a 150 mountain goat buggy and I was able to pull her up hills (actually they where the Spanish Peeks in souther Colorado) she got stuck on. I have also added a CB radio and some other stuff. My next mod will be bead locking Rims and Better tires. I don't have much tread left from fishtailing on blacktop. You want to talk about suspension. I still cant believe the suspension. I had 650 bounds plus in it going off jumps and across tilled fields and washes and rarely even felt a jar. I am very satisfied with the performance and now I am looking at dropping a 650 Harley V-Twin in it. I would gear it so that I can get a little better bottom end and a top of around 60 mph. If anyone has any ideas on how to do this please let me know. I do have a problem with heat. When it is 110 out and I run it hard for about 3 hours I have to let it idol for 30-45 minutes. I would suggest ALL 250 owners to place a heat shield of some kind between the exhaust and your fuel line. I melted through mine and the line was about 10 inches away. Me exhaust also warped my battery and melted a couple of vacume lines. I would say It gets a little hot. Other then general maintenance I have had no other problems. I do run it rich though. The frame has held up incredibly well. I also mounted a hitch and pull a trailer (the same trailer I built for the spider) with the Yerf on it.

Oooh V-Twin Harley engine sounds good but bad idea, those things will rattle your teeth out and with the nuts and bolts that come loose already it would vibrate till it fell apart!
Use a thumper motor or if you want a vtwin use one of the big four-Yam,Suz,Kawa,Hon rubber mounted vtwin (i think much smoother operation). _________________ '07 Titan II- mostly stock (mods to come!)
