I have a Dazon 150 endro classic. On my carb there is an adjustment for the fuel to turn it up or down. To richen or lean the mixture.

Do some carbs not have this? All I seem to see on this forum is rejet rejet but nothing about actaully trying to adjust what you have.

Just wondering

Nick

Is it a stock CV style carb on the Dazon? If it is then the only adjustment that you really have is the idle cuircuit. If it is a slide or flat slide style then yes you have much more adjustment, BUT, if you are adding a Pipe and Muffler then you will not usually be able to get the mixture right with just the screw. We go way up with mods from Exhaust to cams and big bore etc... stock jets being 108-114 and with mods we go up as high as 130-140. I hope this helps a bit....

ok the idle was on top near the throttle cable. this screw i am talking about is on the left of the carb looking at it from the way you have your picture.

Is there a tell tell sign for it running too lean? Mine when it is cold won't idle well but if i turn the idle screw, once the engine is warm the thing screams at "idle" so i turned the screw a half turn "out" which i believe is too the left. it seems to run better, but without a dyno there is no way to really tell.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the plug reading guide. I had been trying to find one.

Do you happen to know the part number for the idrumium plug. Can you get them at an auto parts store?
