I'm not familiar with your type of buggy but I'm guessing it has a 250 engine. If you are getting fuel to your carb then it has to be the choke or the spark. I would start with looking and making sure you are getting spark first, since it did start and run for a short period. If spark is O.K., then I would suspect the choke.

As stated in the last post check for spark, this is the first thing to trouble shoot if you have spark and are not getting fuel to the plug try tapping the carb, sometimes the float seat will stick especially if the gas is bad, also check the gas, todays gas does not keep in an open system cars and trucks don't have this problem do to them having a closed fuel system.Just a little test to try: purchase 1 gallon of gas and take notice of the color (clear) and the smell of it,let that gas set for 1-2 weeks, than purchase another gallon of gas and compare the two to color and smell. The color will start changing to yellow and it will smell bad compared to the new gas, this will cause problems with the carburetor. Always keep fresh gas in your kart. TOM
