I'm looking for an inexpensive 150 for my 8 year old son.

where do you live? a 150 is a big buggy for an 8 year old, sure its not for you Wink for an 8 year old a 110cc would be about right.

have him set against the wall, and measure from the center of his hip to the flat of his feet. then look for seat to pedal distance in that range.

Its always best to buy from a local dealer if possible, might pay a little more but you will be able to look, sit, and drive before you spend the cash

This forums layout is different then what I'm used to. I keep puting something in the subject box and it doesn't show like the format in plowsite and lawnsite. I'm in Iowa. Teenagers at our church will be using the buggy so I need a 150.

Good used 150cc buggies start at $750 and up. New ones run $1500 and up. Are you comfortable fixing your own equipment or do you prefer dealer support?

We would service it. I'm having problems finding anything in that price range.

In the bottom of the price range I would suggest the Baja Dune 150, Tomberlin Crossfire and Punisher 150's and the Yerf-Dog Spiderbox GX-150's. Slightly more expensive models would include the Blade/Kinroad 150's, Carter 150's and Twister 150's.

The best used deals are Buggy Depot or Craig's List. Although some people have had luck on eBay, I find too many scams and misrepresented products there.

The least expensive new buggies will come from big-box stores and drop-shippers that have no idea what they are doing. Expect little or no support from them and resolving issues on your own or through the manufacturer. The more expensive buggies will have better dealer and manufacturer support. The dealers that take time to support this forum are the preferred choice - I believe the closest one to you is in Indiana.
