Hello, My son has a 05 HH150 and I would like to replace the weights in the variator. I don't know what size to get ie 15x12,16x13, or 18x14. I also plan on getting the 1500 rpm torque spring. Any and all help would be great.

Thanks...

18x14 is normally what is used in the 125-150cc GY6 motors.

ummm... usually, when going performance, we measure them in grams... 9, 10, and 11 are the most common for performance 150cc variators... In fact, some manufacturers are putting 10g rollers in their buggies, stock... if you go sliders, the general rule of thumb is that for every gram a slider is, the roller si -2. So if you have a 12g slider, you technically have a 10g roller... I have had better luck with rollers over sliders, but I do have a set of partially used 12G sliders if you want to try them out... I bought them brand new, and used them for ONE buggy run. I went back with rollers, as I felt I lost performance with the 12g sliders... It turned out, I had a slipping belt real bad, and a fuel issue, all at once, so the sliders may have been perfect, I just never re-installed them...

If you are interested in tryin them out, PM me and well talk a price!!

Good luck!!!

john Very Happy
