Ok,
So I'm stuck on this and need some help/advise.

With my new seats they bolt directly to the frame and have no gap between seat and frame. The problem comes with my brake pedal rod (bar connecting brake pedal to master behind driver seat), it cant go under the seat anymore. Can I replace that with a cable?

persoanlly, I wouldnt... Cables seem too prone to breakage on these buggies, and it is a tough spot under there... Can you make a small shim, possibly use longer bolts with a spacer between the frame and the seat, just enough to sneak the bar under?

Yea, I just put a small spacer in between the seat and the frame of the kart. I just hate how that bar goes right under your feet. I know im going to bend it one day. What do you think about moving the master to the front on the pedal and just run the brake line down the center bar to the rear brake?
Any issues you can see?

No new photos, I'm waiting for my dad to help me make some brackets for those shocks I got from Mark. Im not the best when it comes to the torch. Confused Most likley will do this weekend. And I'm still waiting on the 12mm rack from Tomberline. They said they would be in on the 5th, so should be soon. Once I have those 2 things, I think I am ready to build. I have a few other things, but nothing big. I still need front rims and tires, and I will need new brake pads all around. But those will come, and worse case I will ride with my old rims and tires until then.

Hey on that note, How do you feel about these ITP rims on these buggys? Meaning are they strong? I just got a pair of brand new ITP C- series rims for the rear.(actually got them free on craigslist, people were moving) My concern is that out here I am in the rocks and ruts alot, are these rims going to hold up or should I stay with the stock steelys?

I cant wait to get it back up and running. I have done alot to it, and it will be a whole new kart. Cant wait to see how it goes now! Thanks again for all your help and support.

ITP rims are awesome!!!!

The only problem is finding the right bolt pattern and back spacing...

I believe they are 4-4, 137mm... If you found those in ITP rims for free, that is awesome!!! what rim size though???

FYI. I called Tomberlin for the 14mm ball joints they were out of stock, until this week. The price is nice however I want my order yesterday, and Baja can do that for me, and Glade for my 250. What I'm trying to say is Baja does have 14mm ball joints problem is, they raised their prices.

Monk, I know your is Reno, so I'm kinda directing this to you. Once I ordered parts on a Thursday and recieved them on a Monday, that's the longest I've waited for parts with Baja.

Well, I expect to receive my go cart plans Monday, so the Dune might become a donor or go through a radical change. I'll keep you guys posted. Time to search craigslist for my donor quad.

Greg

GMAN,

I usually get stuff from Tomberlin withing 3-4 days. Not bad, but I know how it feels to want it NOW!!! In all reality, Tomberlin is cheaper on all their parts than Baja. So the question really comes down to if you want to pay the extra for them now, or save and get in a week.

Just my 2 cents: I would use Tomberlin anyways for the help and customer service aspect. Tomberlin has always taken care of me with no questions asked.

John,

Thanks for the info on these rims. That set my thought at ease. I already got them. They are the exact size and pattern needed. People were moving out of town the next day, and said for someone to come get them, so I did. ITP C Series with 21-11-10 Kendra Sand Geckos on them, never even been put on a machine. My plan is to sell the paddle tires, and get myself some good dirt tires.
