oh yeah!!! I forgot!!! FRONT BRAKES!!!!!! on the crossfire... lol...

I meant set the 500 aside for items like appropriate trail tires for the front and rear, and rims for the front to upgrade the tries up there...

Sprocket if you want to...

Reverse if you need it...

some form of seat cushion if you like your spine...lol...

should your riding habits or terrian differ from jtramseyjr, you might want to invest in the better parts for the front end like ball joints and spindles and such... Wink

This is what I would do.Buy them both You can break down the Yerf and sell it for parts.I bought them for $250 and turned it into $1400.Make back my investment. Then I would mod the heck out of the Crossfire. Then take the Wife out to Dinner.Bamm two happy folks.

Ha, I have two boys and a wife that loves off road. If I were to buy both of them, first, my wife would have a cow and shoot me for spending the $. Afterwards, if I could talk her in to riding one, we'd have to keep both!!!

By the way jtramseyjr, that is one good looking Yerf you have!

Hey, Thats another good Idea. The Yerf you pictured does have the weaker front end.But you can get the welding upgrades done at a local welder shop.Take pictures of the way they were upgraded with you to the welder and it will be a lot cheaper. Here is a link with picture of that style spindle. Thanks I get a lot of compliments on the Yerf.

I would suggest to go drive both of them. See which one fits you better, which one rides better, which one has the stronger engine. You never know what your truley up against. If you were buying them brand new, then go with which kart (brand name) is better, but when your buying it used and only 250 dollars seperates them, pick the better qualified one, keeping in mind all the info you gathered along the way:
