Good Day,

I am possibably going to be procuring a Hammerhead 250SS (Pending Funding.) I am buying driectly from Hammerhead Canada, they said they would shipped assambled to my location.

What will I need to do right off the bat to get it going and going good? (It is comming with the Hammerhead Canada Preformance Kit)

Should I change all the fluids right off the back of the truck, if so what fluids should I change? (Brand/type weight ect please if possible.)? (Please keep in mind I am not a very machinical person and have no Idea what some accronyms are such as CVT..)

Thanks In Advance.

It will run great right out of the box. On your first oil change then i would worry about changing oil.
Keep an eye on your coolant reservoir the plastic cap seems to let everything out so top it up or atleast check it every run.

Buying from HammerheadCanada was a great decision Bill is awesome for customer service.

Where are you located? Im just outside Edmonton maybe we can ride together some time.

I bought amsoil marine grease and greased all the nipples but its not necessary to do immediately after arrival. I would just change the oil/grease and coolant at the first scheduled maintenance.

I run synthetic 10w 40 oil (amsoil) synthetic isnt necessary but is Better then regular oils same as with a car. The grease i use is amsoil water resistant grease.

Steeda,

Thanks for the quick reply, so when it comes off the back of the truck I should be able to throw in some fuel and go, no probs? That rocks.

I am located in Shilo, MB (about 20 Mins East of Brandon, MB). If I ever make it out the Edmonton way again Definitly we will have to try and get together to ride, I have seen your video and, I would definitly look foward to ride with you.
