[/b] hello all
im from the great garden of england....kent...and thought i'd get aquainted with you all ...my buggy is a 2006 gs moon 260cc road legal and is almost my everyday vehicle for the short trip to work then my weekend toy for blasting through the woods...the perfect vehicle.surely!! having said that its currently not running and parts over here are an imposibility to find..however will stick with it..love the site, looking forward to maybe speaking to some of you soon........anyway hell0o again from madhouse in a very wet england !!
Hey Madhouse, welcome to buggy news,,
I thought it would be warm-ish over there at the moment, as its pretty cool in Perth, West OZ,,, about 3 degrees with a high of 16 today, though its sunny and warm outa the wind.
Youre lucky to have a street legal buggy over there,, So cheap as, to run with the high price of fuel these days,,,, its $1.50 to $1.75 over here at the moment,, and $1.90 to $2.00 for Diesel, per litre. Our cops would never allow these things on our roads,, wowsers!
I get my parts sent to me from the US, from one of the dealers I found on here,,
Glade from edgepowersports,,, he has sent me quite a few spares and other parts for modifying my beasts,, price is always fair and shipping is also pretty good, depending on the weight and there are plenty of others who will look after you from this site, plus the punters on here are always available with plenty of knowledge on our fine Karts.
I have a couple of Kinroad 250.
Cheers, and beers

thanks for the reply...weve had a couple of weeks of warm weather,so i guess thats our summer over with then...our police dont care about the buggies as long as they are road legal ..quite often i get stopped just so they can have a look and once they even had a ride around the petrol station, and with our petrol prices soaring around 1.18 ish they are the ideal vehicle.and of course it saves having to trailer them around when you go off roading...
will try edgepowersports for the parts i need its actually a starter clutch thats gone and its starting to bug me know ..
jj.
will get some photos as soon as i get it off the axle stands and fixed.....as far as speeds go mine only has a sports exhaust as extras so far and will do just under 60mph..however i live in the countryside surrounded by back lanes, fields and woods and the only real traffic i come across is a tractor, and the odd cow,but it keeps up with traffic quite normally if i take it to the shops for example.i have never been over taken so far..wouldnt want to take it on a wide open 3 lane carriageway though...the only real problem i do face is arguing with my wife which ones driving...
Welcome to this great site..I'm from the uk as well (wiltshire).
I know what you mean about being road legal you just drive straight to a byway no questions asked & the police love em I got stopped a couple of times all they wanna do is take a look as they dont see any around.I used to have a pgo 250,now I have a superbyke traveller rri 1100cc...now that is fast.I have had 80mph out of it at the mo (still running in) they reckon it'll do just over 100mph.Will defo wear a helmet at that speed as the face gets a bit battered from the Wind,Flies & Stones. But great fun !!
yeah i have to agree with jj,kicker that is a good looking beast.its looks like its got off road tyres ??whats it like on the road??..ive finally found a supplier for my parts here in the uk so will have mine back up and running in a week or so....and will be hitting the dirt again soon...then its parts upgrade time......yippee
That is one sweet looking ride. Welcome to Buggynews! _________________ Custom Buggy http://www.buggynews.com/topic13417.html
