How about an update on those split boots? How are they holding up 6 months later?

Sold the Viper that had the split boot for a Trooper but ran into the guy who purchased Viper and split boot still holding up after about 1K miles.

Its so fast to install split boot I will definitely do it on the Trooper if it ever needs one.

So does anybody know the diameter split boot for the 650 ss. The axles look to be the same 1" as the 1100 but the cv looks smaller around 2.5" from trying to measure with a tape with the axle in the way. Thanks

I cut the old boot off the 650 and found it was the same size you fellows were using. 2 7/8 x 1" i ordered the part number listed #03606 but the boot I got was too small on the axle end and way too large on the cv joint end. Any body have any idea whats up. Did autozone change the number? Any body else use one of these? Is there another sorce? Thanks Van

I have used that part number twice on my 1100 with no trouble. I believe a 2007 Hyundai Elantra 2.0L has the
same diameter CV. Maybe try to cross reference?
