I have a 150cc and a 250cc twister go karts and I was wonder it there is any way to modify the karts to have more hp and speed because they just don't seem they have the high rpm's.[/b]
the one mod that seems to be the best bang for your buck with these buggys is rollers/sliders in the cvt and a heavier torgue spring in the clutch i have a 2006 single speed hh250 and have 21g sliders and 2000lb torgue spring i have more but that was my first mod it added a lot of low end and some snap to the take off if you need more low end you can get leighter rollers/sliders rollers and sliders are interchangable btw i think you can go all the way down to 15g rollers in the 250 but you will loose some top end and down to 8g rollers in the 150 (10g seems to be what most people on the forum prefer) the weight you choose will depend on what kind of riding you do some people love the high speeds others like myself need the low end torgue for getting up hills another cheap mod is a ngk irredium plug and synthetic oil of course then you can graduate to the uni exaust mods and rejeting your carb so far that all the mods i have on mine and i ride regularly with a polaris trail blaser 2 cycle 4 wheeler and have no probs keeping up with him or going up anything he does even with a rider in the buggy im sure someone else will chime in with more advice on mods and i have not yet had the pleasure of modding a 150 (yet) but my dad is wanting one so i may get to dive into a 150 hehe

For more horsepower and speed you need exhaust, intake and jets. Cvt mods just make the power you currently have more usable. _________________ Darren,
