Yes, but I reinforced them and added 14mm ball joints. Why do you ask?

BIGE,

No crazy ideas for the front YET!!! This is my first kart and I have only rode maybe 4 times. I think I need to stick to the basics until I get some on trail experience and knowledge. I do how ever have ideas and parts waiting an IRS set up.

Any crazy ideas up your sleeves?

Update:

Ok this is taking a bit longer than I thought. Every time I go to install one new piece, I realize I have a different one I need to put on first.

So as of today I have reran all new wires from box to ignition and lights. Installed Ignition, kill switch and light switch. Front end is put together, but I need the new rack and pinion and front shocks before I can mount to the kart. Both have been ordered and should be here soon. Pedals, shifters and cables all replaced.

Hopefully I can get more done this weekend, once I get the needed parts. I will update with photos after this weekend.

what shocks are you going with? what happened to your old rack? As per the combo you have, I would skip the filter on the cvt... it gets waaay too hot in there to add a filter to it, other than a piece of t-shirt or something with a band strap or even a zip tie to hold it on... I run without a filter and so far, great results!!! I flush it after every run with water...

When using an oil cooler, be sure to run it for only a few hours, and change the oil a couple times before going on any big rides or anything... this ensures no leaks and a properly operation system... Plus it will flush the new cooler of any potential threats from the factory...

Good luck, and I cant wait for the pix!!!

John,

Well..thanks to Mark, Im going to use the 16" shocks with the brackets from his Dune. I was having no luck finding a set of those ZR's in 18's anywhere, and I want to ride. So Im going to use these for now, and keep looking for ZR's.

Nothing really, cracked booties...but I just replaced everything else up front, so i didn't really want to have all that new stuff relieing on the stiff old rack.

Im not sure I could get away with out having something filtering...I live in the desert and its pretty dusty! Shouldn't I be concerned about all that dust on the belt?

The oil cooler has already gone out the window. I had several members tell me no, so I ditched that idea.

Thank you again for all your knowledge and insight. It is greatly appreciated.
