The 32mm MRP pumper is installed and fits perfectly after replacing the cross bolt with two seperate ones instead. The riser is history. The 30mm performance intake bolted up directly to the head. No plastic spacer. Just some gasket paper and a little black RTV.
Finally, the idle runs steady and is adjustable!
With a 160 jet the carb struggles very slighty at the top end. The plug read is a very light shade of tan.
Boy, was this a noticeable difference from the 150 jet. It almost eliminated the 'cutting out' and 'starving for gas' problem completely. It is a good feeling to be close to getting this engine /carb dialed in.
Eric, do you carry a 165 jet? I believe this will do it. If you have one would you please mail it to me and charge my card?

Damn! you answered fast! I will mail you the 150 & 152 jets and pilot jets for your stash. If you do not find a 165 in your inventory would you please let me know where I might find one? Or, if you have a jet size/drill bit conversion chart please let me know what the bit size is for a 165 and I'll just drill out the 160.

i doing ok AndyH and had a nice 4th of july just ate to much good food off the grill
wow what a small world my sister and her family live in charleston. i live around a 100 miles north of charleston, town Buckhannon, county Upshur.

Just installed a 165 jet.
Damn thing runs like a raped ape. Definately fecal matters and gits! No more starving for gas or cutting out at all.
Now I just need a tach and some good shocks.
What are you all using for a tach?
Is anyone using the VAPOR TRAILTECH FOR WATER COOLED engines on their 150cc air cooled? But, not using the water cooled feature?
