I couldn't get the freakin cvt nut off and broke the fan pulley trying. Now I need a new pulley. I noticed that a couple of the bearings in the back were flat sided. I am looking for recommendations on where to order the part from and any info on upgrading or just getting OEM parts. While I am in the case, should I upgrade the clutch. Everything is OEM right now.

Well if your already in there and your willing to spend a little more for the performance... I'd say upgrade your rollers and variator. Wink

After posting my question, I examined the variator and the rollers further. I need to replace the rollers because of wear. If I only replace the rollers, what weight should I get?

I started searching for parts and saw an upgraded variator but the fan was out of stock. I prefer to get the parts from the same place and get them within a week. Suggestions on variators? I don't know a good brand from the next.

Well roller weight you choose should be determined by what kind of driving you do... if you want your buggy to be able to climb anything I would go with 9 grams. If you want top speed go with a heavier roller. As far as variators and such, Stu at Bladepowersports can hook you up.

yes the rollers weight will be determined by the type of riding you will be doing. I sell a complete kit that has the fan half, rear half, 10 gram rollers, yellow main spring, and yellow clutch springs for $89.00

the cvt stuff is cheap and easy to do. it puts the engine higher in the rpm range for more peak power. adds alot of bottom end power. if you want more top end then substitute the 10 grams for a heavier roller

Thanks for the help. Our primary riding doesn't include many hills. I had noticed that it was slower accelerating that it was new.

BIGE- It sounds like your package deal is what I need. Razz
