Sorry to hear you bought a Sunl. Others may chime in here, but I don't believe you have a problem. When you let off the gas and coast you are "loading" the gears in the opposite direction. Think of the whine you get when you back up a car in reverse. When you give it a little gas you are taking some of the braking load of the gears and the whine goes away.

(MotoSportsParts.com) has a FEW parts for that buggy
have you checked your gear oils the internals gears behind clutch and the gear box.the whining sound could be dry gears and bearings not getting oiled.not to long ago another member had gotten a buggy that had a dry gearbox.
never hurts to check everything when you get one out of a crate
good luck pud

weslow1 definitely check your gear box for being low on oil or none in it,
here is how i know i was on (sunl.com) looking around seen your buggy and was looking at it in the details section.they have a parts manual you can download and a installing manual you can download to.after looking at the manual that should have came with your buggy but i here alot of times no one gets one. there is a section that says check your gearbox when getting it.when they are transported they have very little oil in them.
i just thought i would pass that info on to you and anybody else that might read this, could save some serious problems wright off the bat.
