Ok the shaft fell out after the bearing blew. We took it all apart and nothing else was damaged but I need to make sure I order the right part(s).
The shaft bearing was the one pressed into the engine case. It should be part #14 and #15 that I need. 16 and 17 are the other bearings below it?

And the gear the shaft goes through had fallen out when we opened it up. Which way does it go back in? There is an "8" stamped on it and the gear next to it (left) also has the "8" facing up. I am assuming it should also have it facing up.

Also the shaft has 2 rings left on it. 1 is from the destroyed bearing. What is the other one? Is it a spacer?

Thanks for any help.

Thanks. It looks like the same parts. I was gonna call the guys at BuggyDepot too. I was just wondering if I could get an answer here since a lot of you guys know your stuff. The drive shaft pieces are what really has me stumped.

Yep, that's right. #14 is the output shaft bearing and #15 is the seal.

As long as the teeth are meshing, the gears won't care which way they are oriented.

Thanks for any help.
There is one spacer that goes on the output shaft, it is 10mm wide and has a yellow zinc finish. Niether of the ring pieces in the shaft picture appear to be the spacer though. I can't see clearly, but both of the pieces in the picture appear to be pieces of the destroyed bearing. If you can account for the yellow zinc spacer, then the pieces in the picture can be discarded.

Yeah I have BMIKarts down too but I am having a problem with them right now. I bought the a-arm off of ebay from them but they sent a narrower shafted one instead of the larger one that uses the busings and shaft. I have been waiting a few weeks to get the correct one so I can mail the other one back to them.

Well both can't be pieces of the bearing because they are both snug to the shaft. So one has to be the spacer. The one on the left is what I think is the spacer it must have gotten a bit chewed up coming out. Is there a part # for that and also what side of the bearing does the spacer go on?

The spacer is between the sprocket and bearing. I believe this the part you need:
