sounds like its a little lean on the pilot jet side have you tried adjusting the air fuel mixture screw, turn out for gas in for air.
loose baffle could be a problem flopping around shutting off exhaust flow,something that needs to be looked into.
also check your intake for leaks,just some thoughts.
i know i'm windy and probably take to many pictures but here are some, the toughest hill i got here at house.before i used to go half way up and turn around but i have opened it up so i can go on through.
a couple are a little fuzzy but holding camera and driving can be tricky Smile

i never messed with the fule air mix screw. weres it at?

when you go to try this to see if this helps turn screw all the way in count the turns but be easy when screw stops thats it enough. then put it back were it was,that away you will know were it was set factory encase this don't help
let your engine warm up good before adjusting it.
try a 1/4 turn out more than factory setting and see if it helps.
also one more thing you could have gotten a piece of junk in your jets to cause this to,just another thought.

i imediatly turned it back 1.5 turns, and that solved it.
i think il just say too hell with the muffler. only makes noise and dosent seem to be hurting anything.
