I have not dealt so much with the 800 as the 1100. There are several on this forum that have the 800 and 1100 SV and seem to have faired very well with them.

You haven't had engine problems so why do you want to replace the engine?? Use your welding resources to adapt VW or Porsche CV joints & axles to your tranny. And put that posi rear end back in. Don't you have any mud or hills where you ride? _________________ _________________

no i have not had any engie problem.the problem is it keeps broking the output shaft in the trann i have broke 2 of them athat why i went with a open diff .and as far as the axles i think what happend is when i broke the first 2 output shaft in the trann it put a lot of stress on the axles.and that what caused it 2 break .but my point is my buggy is brand new its got 34 miles on it i took it 2 the woods twice and had 2 get pulled out twice both times i broke the output shaft .so ya the engie does run good .its the rest i am worred about . iam taking the buggy out this weeked this will be the 3 time i going 2 c how it does with the open diff in .ther is no way i will ever put another posi rear in it
