| < Engine Clinic - Mini Off Road Buggy ~ Where to get carb parts? |
|
|

My son and I were rejeting the carb on our 150CC motor last night. He stripped the head on one of the screws that holds the bowl on.
Does anyone know what size the screw is or where I can get new ones.

If it is just a regular screw, most hardware stores should carry a replacement (probably metric) screw. Take the carb in with you to make sure you get the right screw.
If it is a specialty screw, say like the air adjustment screw/needle -then trying to find that type of part is very hard.
Try the hardware store first - good luck!

I have tried the hardware store. The thread count does not match the others.
Does anyone know of where online by chance?

If i am reading correctly you just stripped the head out not the threads correct?
If so you need to go to a local repair shop and ask them if you can go through there bone pile. Most shops have these. You should be able to find one that will fit. You could also try a small engine repair shop (lawnmowers etc. ) They usually have carbs lying all around and should find a screw that will fit. You could try to contact BIGE and see if he could find you one. _________________ 150cc Rocketa

I have done that before, I used an impact driver to get it out. or worse case cut a slot in the head and use a impact driver.
I have a few screws laying around, I can send you one _________________ Blade buggies,Carter buggy's, ams (manco) , joyner, parts for almost anything
