Does the length of the UNI make any difference? I have the 4" UNI right now, but it ripped where it mounts so I need to get a replacement. I've been running it right off the carb due to the tight area in there and would like to go back to using an elbow. I'll need a smaller filter to do so. (See photo) The K&N filters look like they're quite a bit shorter, which would allow me to put an elbow off the carb and get that thing out of my right ear. Any thoughts? Go with K&N or shorter UNI?
