2005 talon gx150rr with a gy6 150cc engine. i got it new and from day one it sucked at climbing hills. When even a small branch getsin its way at low speed it wont go over it.
i can floor it, and the engine doesn't bog down and the tires don't try to spin.
i think that the pads on the clutch are slipping on the bell.
I have already changed to 9 gram rollers witch raised the rams and would help allot it it stopped slipping.
how do i know whats sliping and whats the easyest (and hopefuly cheapest) fix

most of the time its the belt that slips, its the weak link.
add a main spring and clutch springs to the 9 gram rollers and that should do the trick

will spring make the pads on the cluch push out harder for more grip.
what color or kind of spring for each.
whats the main, the one sandwiched btween the clutch and pully?

yes to all the above. the yellow clutch springs work well along with the yellow main spring. changing the axle sprocket to a 39 tooth will help also

I carry all that stuff and I had a buggy just like yours for 2.5 years. there are alot of good dealers on here.
