HELP PLEASE. REVERSE NOT WORKING

I just got my cart about 3 weeks ago and already I'm having problems with the reverse gear. It's a 150cc Automatic C.V.T. Shaft Drive Transmission. I adjusted the cable but still no results. The transmission gear seams to move to go to drive and reverse but reverse is not working. Please help. I'm new at all this, I did not think the cart would break down so fast specially since I have not abused it.

Everything else is good and it was running great, but now the reverse is not working.

I got it to work. I was adjusting the cable on the transmission end and it worked temporary. I had to adjust the cable by the shift stick cause it was completely loose. It's working fine now.
