This buggy is going to drive me insane

I read allot on here before I got my buggy and I thought I knew what I was getting into. I didn't realize it was going to consume my whole life. I think about it all the time. My wife gives me a hard time about me looking at what she calls "go kart porn" every day. If I could just get it "right". I changed the pipe and the carb and got ALLOT more power but I lost it and I'm going out of my mind trying to get it back. My path is washed out and the tractor's broke. My grass is getting tall. I haven't even started my Harley since last summer and my wife is going to kill me if I dont fix the carbs on the waverunner soon. Anybody else have this problem? I might feel better if I know I'm not alone.

i think i'm following you on this,you don't have a roller hung or turn side ways not letting the belt come all the way back down,
do you. i have had that to happen to me .

It's not the rollers I've been running it without the cover so I can see whats going on back there. I'm thinking my power problem has something to do with my homemade intake. I had to modify it to keep the carb from falling off and it hasn't been the same since. I got a little carried away with the die grinder and now it's a little bigger than the carb. I'm going to take it off and rework it again and see if it helps.

I heard the same thing. then I started selling them and it only got better ( for me ) I still hear " get off Buggynews and take me to dinner "

Ditto here, my wife told me I was in another world when I have
buggy on the brain. So I made a sign and put in my shop. It
says "Welcome To Buggyville" That's pretty much the town I
live in, if not everyday, at least every other day. But like BigE
said, at least we're not doing anything illegal.

I figured out my power problem and I feel like a jacka$$. I've been fighting this thing for almost two weeks trying to figure out what I did to mess it up. Today I was turning the motor by hand and noticed it was really easy. I adjusted the valves. I had the cvt cover and the carb off so it took about one minute. I put the carb back on and took it for a test drive, problem solved. I didn't mess with anything but the carb and intake so I was concentrating on that. Oh well, maybe I'll sleep better tonight.
