I recently purchased a Manco Spirit 49cc Buggy/go-Kart for my Grandson, Model # 1050L, and I want to install a live axle. Right now it has the single wheel (L) drive and everytime he takes it in the sand/mud/off highway, he just spins. Manco has stated they don't make a live axle for this model, so I had a machinist make one (Expensive!). Problem now is, I can't find another drive wheel to match the original. It's a 6" rim with a 5/8" center hole and 1/4" keyway installed to drive it. Does anybody know of an axle that would cross for this model, know where I might be able to find another drive wheel, or has a "Live" axle with wheels they want to get rid of that would fit this buggy? There's currently one of the same model buggy on ebay with a blown engine, however, it's local pickup only in Colorado. I'm in Orange Park, Florida. Please help!
