Tomorrow morning I'll be getting up and taking my 14 year old
to school and then hitting the highway towards McDonough
Powersports. Eric and Terry have sold me an Apollo 150cc dirt
bike. I told my son at the beginnig of the school year if he flew
straight and made all A's and B's I would reward him with his
very own dirt bike. Well, he did more than make A's and B's, he
practically stayed on honor roll all year long, started as nose
guard and tight end on his 8th grade football team and was the
starting catcher for his 8th grade baseball team. So for his top
of the line, outstanding performance this whole school year, I
now have to keep my promise. Thanks to Eric and Terry at
McDonough Powersports I'll do just that. There's nothing like a
good dose of positive motivation to get the best out of your
kids! Oh yea, I forgot to mention, I made a deal with my other
son, he's 8, same deal, all A's and B's and he would get his own
buggy. Well he did, honor roll all year long, so for his birthday
he'll be getting a Blade 110. And yes, I'll be buying it from Eric
and Terry. So if your kids are giving you fits, if they are not
living up to their fullest potential, sweeten the deal and see if
they improve. I betcha they will. And last but certainly not the
least, my 6 year old daughter (daddy's girl for sure) has now
told me that she wants her very own purple buggy with pink
seats. Thay may be tough. But if I have to I'll buy another
buggy from Eric and Terry and just paint it and reupolster the
seats. Anythings possible Very Happy

Congratulations! Don't you just love it/ hate it when they come across and make you stay to your word Laughing!
Tell the kids we said well done and give yourself a pat on the back too. A strong mentor plus commitment and devotion makes the difference. Their success is a reflection of papa.

Thanks for the compliment ckau, you know, you do your best
raising them up and hope they turn out better than you. So its
worth it in the end when they turn out to be well behaved,
productive members of society. God knows we could use more
of them. BigE, get your deposit slip filled out, Im on my way Smile

Outstanding MUDRAGER!!! Glad to see there are still some good kids left in the world Very Happy !! Seems like yours are doing very well off and to say your son plays dual sports is an even greater attribute (I pitched from middle school up into a year of college) and that is wonderful to see. Hope they all enjoy their "new toys"!!

I appreciate the compliments. Just a note...it's MADRANGER. No
offense taken though. 3 hours up 1 hour jawjacking with BigE
and his lovely wife Terry, then 3 hours back. The dirt bike is
awesome! The bike is a little screammer for sure. It's an Apollo
150cc. I can't wait to see his face Very Happy He'll probably look some-
what like that. I tell ya the truth, for the deal Eric and Terry
gave me on this bike, I could buy three of them for what a
Suzuki or Honda would cost me. Cudos to McDonough Power-
sports. Great service, Great people, Great store, Great buggy
products, Great dirt bikes!

No big deal, yeee whats in a name anyways. Whats most
important here is that we are all buggy FREAKS! And yes, his
reaction will probably be more than I can imagine.
