Ok since I'm new here I don't know, lol.
What are the top five mods that you can put on your buggy, in order of precedence? It can be either engine mods, body mods, anything. I am primarily looking for performance gains, but would like to know whatever you guys think are the most popular and practical.
Can I get a cost to the mod next to the mod, example.
1. K&N air filter- $65.00
2. ??? _________________ Justin

I am not familiar with prices yet but...
1. sliders
2. variator
3. uni filter (or the filter of choice)
4. exhaust
5. clutch
A proper rejet is required with each and every mod. I would call Tom at 717-825-0669 for prices. We open back up on Tuesday. Our prices are fair and we ship fast.
I would try the first 3 first (inexpensive) before you decide you need anything else. _________________ -Alex

Started off with gutting the exhuast
CVT upgrade
Rollers
Variator
Red, Yellow and white clutch springs
Carb Re-jet
Looking around $90 Depending
Add in the UNI
I spent about $110 and very happy with end result _________________ Team - The Gas Guzzlers

BIGE, How much noise does that FMF make? I'm looking for something quiet that doesn't cost me much power. Got a picture or part number for that thing?
Biggest bang for the buck
1. rollers 25-30.00
2. Honda clutch pads, less prone to slipage/melting 30-40.00
3. Air filter K&N or uni
4. Larger axle sprocket
5. Check the inside of the exhaust pipe where it goes into the engine. Look for obstructions caused by sloppy welding. Grind as necessary. Grind the pipe flange to match the opening in the gasket. Cost- Free if you already have the tools!
5a Will need to rejet after exhaust and intake work.
Not a big fan of the gutted exhaust. To loud. Unless you ride where NOBODY can hear you why risk pissing people off and getting banned. _________________ 05 Jehm Adventure Buggy 250cc, Torque Spring, 22.5gr Rollers, Modified Roll Cage, K&N, 21x7x10 & 22x11x10 Trac Star Radials, Vapor, Body Panels, 40T Spkt

it is a little louder than a stock muffler but not as loud a a total gut muffler. I have one on my 250 and it works well, helped out in the mid range power. its not so loud that you can hear it a mile away or anything. _________________ Blade buggies,Carter buggy's, ams (manco) , joyner, parts for almost anything

I just installed UNI, FMF slipon, white spring, re-jet, and 15g rollers on my GK-06. Got everything from BIGE, fast shipping and he was very helpful answering my questions.
BIG differance and it climbs soo much better than it did stock.
Just pulled the plug and it looked a little lean so Im gonna swap to the 132 jet fom the 130. Glad I bought a few like he suggested.

I also have a Roketa gk-06 and I'm looking to do some CVT mods. Did you get all-around performance, or is it a trade-off between low-end climbing and top-end speed? What main spring did you go with on yours?

There is a trade off for CVT mods. Tom and I are working on a way to test it (perhaps a 1/4 mile track run), but you may lose 1-3mph but gain alot in your 60' times. I hope this description makes sense, I can't figure a better analogy. _________________ -Alex
