Does anyone make/have an aftermarket stronger than stock axle for a 650 joyner. i snapped the driver side one on my turbo buggy and now need to replace it so I can ride it this weekend. It twisted right off at the large nut in the center of the rims about 15 feet from the top of a pretty steep hill. I had a heck of a time getting it down the hill so we could get it up on the trailer to get it home. I would like something stronger than a stocker if possible as it broke once, it will probably break again if its the same pile. RICK
Sounds like you broke the spindle rather than the axle. Whichever it is these 650s dont have a reputation for breaking axles or spindles. You may have just gotten a bad one. As far as I have heard there is no one making either an aftermarket spindle or axle for the 650 since it is not a commen problem. Any axle shop can fab you up an axle but be prepared to dish out the bucks for a custom one of axle. A spindle can be made for you at a fab shop, but the same applies, dig deep. That having been said there are some Joyner guys who have bumped there 650 up near the 80 hp mark with ALOT of performance tricks and they are still not breaking axles, so I would advise go get another stock one and see what happens. _________________ 2005 Joyner 650 Turbo
