I posted this up a while back but I only got 1 response, I'd like to get some more answers since I've been her a while and hopefully someone can help me out still. Yes, the GY6 is engraved on the engine near where you fill the oil up, I didn't get a chance to take a pic bakc then but here's my last post:

If its a cn250 the head will be straight up in relation to the engine, like a motor cycle engine and a gy6 will be almost in line with the engine with a slight upword cant. The cn250 will also have an external tube supplying oil to the head, also it will have external valve adjustments on top of the valve cover and will be water cooled the gy6 is air cooled. None of my cn250's have gy6 on them. TOM _________________ GUNNUT

thanks for all the info Tom, I guess it is a CN 250 which i thought/knew it was. Just needed a little re-assurance, haha. I still wander why it has the GY6 engraved on it?? But I'll accept it's a CN 250 .

Picture is worth a thousand words! By the way there were water cooled GY6's as well. _________________ 05 Jehm Adventure Buggy 250cc, Torque Spring, 22.5gr Rollers, Modified Roll Cage, K&N, 21x7x10 & 22x11x10 Trac Star Radials, Vapor, Body Panels, 40T Spkt

Is that what the 175cc water cooled Dazon buggys were, water cooled gy-6's? _________________ DRIVE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT!!!!!!!!!

THE CN150 IS IDENTICAL TO THE CN250 OF COARSE THE DISPLACEMENT BEING THE ONLY DIFFERENCE. I WAS TOLD THAT THE GY6 WAS NOT THE SAME AS THE CN150.I HAD TALKED TO A HONDA PARTS DEALER WHEN TRYING TO LOCATE CASES.HE TOLD ME THE GY6 WAS A DIFFERENT MODEL AND BELIEVES IT WAS NEVER AVAILABLE FROM HONDA IN THE USA.THE CN 150'S LIKE THE CN250 WERE WATER COOLED,WHEREAS THE GY6 WAS AIR COOLED.
