has anyone put a 37 tooth sprocket on a blade 150? if so, were you able to use the stock chain? i just got a brand new chain and a 37 T sprocket. even with the chain tensioner all the way down im still short about 2 links. whats the fix? can i get just a few links? i still have my old chain but i replaced it because it had stiff links and mild surface corrosion so i dont know if i want to remove links off the old chain.

Buggy Depot had a longer and stronger chain tensioner allowing you to use the stock length. I don't know where you can get additional master links for the double roller chains.

Gotta call me, I have one left. If it's something you guys really like, I'll get a few more on my next order. We're also working on getting the chain links you guys are asking for.

65stanguy thanks a bunch. you could have took the time to fill us in on the tech details. no worrys though,i think this is going to make the biggest improvement. if i can get the buggy to break traction before it stops climbing then i will save alot of money on clutches. i got the 37 tooth sprocket and shipping for $60.00 cant beat that for a dual chain.

im going to clock the speeds of the buggy before and after the 31 to 37 tooth install and also include the hill climbing capabilities. im thinking if i install the sprocket and take the 9 gram rollers out and put maybe 12's in there that i wont loose any speed but still have the hill climbing ability from dead stop. mine climbs okay with a run and go on short hill but dead stop it boggs something awfull.

and kidinme mention as you did about the links. if you found some stang and i cant find any ill pay you extra to get me a couple but i seriously dont think i will need any links since my chain adjuster is maxed out and i still have a little slop where its stretched so bad.

is still seems odd that a bigger sprocket would give you more bottom end. it would seem that having more teeth to turn it would make is horrible on climbing but give it more top end. i dunno i cant picture it in my head working like that. but phrugby
has i think a 39 tooth on his and he said it never bogs that it will spin before is just sits there on a hill eating at the clutch. he has been telling me for a while to get a bigger sprocket but i wouldnt listen but crap this is my 5th clutch in 5 or 6 months

thanks again pghruby for beating it in my head Hammer That Head! on what i needed, and stanguy for sending me to the right place Dancing and kidinme for being so nice today when i bought the sprocket
