Had it out on the trails on Friday (1 hour) and Sunday (2 hours) .
Friday. 1) Shift cable came apart - I put it back together and re-crimped it. See Picture.
2) Discovered, the hard way, that the winch switch was backwards... almost pulled the hook right through the guides. Have temporary fix until I can get some helping hands to re-wind the cable. Saw a good item in Cabelas called a 'Winch Saver'. Think I'll try to duplicate it with an old hockey puck.
3) Brakes suck . tried a hard stop from 45 mph on gravel road was not impressed !!
Sunday. No problems - almost. The area that I was at has
People, Horse, Motorcycle, and ATV/OHV trails. More than once I ended up a very narrow bike trails, and even maybe on no trail at all getting turned around with very little clearance was no real problem even though there has been lots on talk about the T2's large turning radius.
Gas tank. There has been discussions about the difficulty in filling. However mine has a 3 inch extension to the filler - which makes is easy - I wonder if this is new.
Mud. Lots of it. It's spring time in the foothills. I didn't attempt anything deeper than about a foot. Has anyone thought about half doors to keep the mud off the driver ?

Isn't a puck wood inside? Something softer would work better. The Winch Saver is good and doesn't cost much. I found some other possibilities in the pet store:
This one's a black rubber dog ball. Already has the hole in it. A "Kong" red rubber ball is another good choice. These are tough and should last a l o n g time. _________________ _________________
