Need lots of advice ! re Joyners

I'm an expert...... I spent 3 hours driving a Joyner 650 4 passenger at ExtremeMiniRails in February so now I'm an expert ...............

Seriously. I'm in Alberta Canada and thinking of buying a 1100 CC Joyner Trooper. The only negative I've seen so far is the turning radius. I'm an old dude., almost 65 , and thinking of using a side by side for trail riding and possibly taking it to Arizona next winter (my first winter in the sunny south).

In bygone days I used to road-race (Lotus) and did a lots
of car rallies (Love gravel back roads and sliding around corners using the hand brake) so I know how to handle standard transmission machines.

Without trying to offend anyone I think the Rhinos, Kawis, Prowlers etc look like transport buses and the Joyner 800 looks like cute mini Hummers, whereas the Troopers have that Mean Nasty Get out of my look to them. Not a very logical reason I know.

PA. I went ahead and bought a 12 foot trailer !!

So... Just how nuts am I ?? Is the 800 Joyner fast enough ??

If you used to be a rally driver then your gonna want the 1100cc, stock it has way more power than the 800cc and a locked differential, the 800ccs have an open diff. the 800 will drift just not as easily as the 1100 locked diff. but the 1100cc will climb alot better and wont do the one wheel burnout and get stuck. This actually has only hapened to me when reversing.

I just sold 2 1100 CC Troopers to a couple of retired fellows. The were impressed by the looks of the Trooper....it is "mean and nasty looking"....very aggressive. And it has the power to match its look. It is not the typical UTV and that is why they sell so well. There is hardly a dealer that can keep them in stock and Team Joyner sends them out as quickly as they get them in.

The ride is excellent and the lockers are a nice touch. The trooper has a variable locking differential. The buggys such as the Sand viper have the locked differential.

I think you will be very pleased if you decided to get the Joyner 1100 trooper.
